• M-PESA Statement is a report that shows the transactions a customer has made via M-PESA for a certain period of time.
• Registered M-PESA Customer can obtain their stamped M-PESA statement (full statement or mini statement) either by;
  • Dialing the USSD *334#
  • Visit a Safaricom Retail Shop.

To Request for M-PESA Statement by Dialing the USSD *334#
Step 1: Register for the Service

1. Customers can now self-generate statements from the comfort of their phones by Dialing the USSD *334# code from their M-PESA registered line, selecting My Account>> Select M-PESA Statement; to register for the service.
2. Select Register for Email Statement>>Accept Terms and Conditions and then enter your email address and verify the request by entering your M-PESA PIN.
3. The customer will receive an SMS confirmation their registration request has been received and is being processed.
4. After registering, customers will receive a notification on the email address provided, with a validation code/OTP. The validation code/OTP shared via email will be used to verify the email provided.

   Note: The OTP generated is valid for 24 Hours from the time of the request.  However, another OTP can be generated from the M-PESA statement Menu on USSD which the customer can use to verify their email address.

5. Redial the USSD *334# code on your device, select My Account>> Select M-PESA Statement>>Select Option 1 – Verify Email using OTP >>Enter OTP sent on the email provided.
6. The customer will receive a notification informing them that; they have successfully registered their email address to receive monthly M-PESA statements.

Step 2: Obtain/Request for M-PESA Statement:

1. Redial the USSD *334# code, select My Account>>M-PESA Statement>> Request Statement>> request either full statement or mini statement>> select statement period>> enter email address>> Re-enter email address>> M-PESA PIN.
2. The M-PESA statement will be sent to the customer’s email and a notification sent via SMS.
3. The time frame for updating/ entering the student marks is within a few minutes and they are no fees associated with this service.

Apply In person
Visit a Safaricom Retail Shop.

1. Registered customers can visit any of Safaricom Retail Shops and present their identification documents used during registration of the SIM Card to be validated by the customer service staff.
2. The staff will then locate the statement via the system and download/print the statement and issue it to the customer.
3. The customer will be required to pay 20.00 ksh for the service.

• Valid identification document used during registration of the SIM Card:
  • National ID/ Passport/ Military ID/ Diplomatic ID/ Alien ID

For Safaricom Support: customers can call line 100 for prepaid, 200 for postpaid
