Apply through State Portal

1. Please visit the website : Online portal and select “Apply Online” option under ONLINE APPLICATION option from the home page.
2. In the new page, please enter your mobile number and hit “Proceed” to reach the next page for detailed instruction.
3. From the menu please select NEW REQUEST and choose “Caste Certificate” option.
4. Enter / Select details as prompted and hit “search” to get the next screen
5. Here, please upload required documents and provide delivery mode. Finally hit “Save” button to get an Acknowledgement. The same will be sent to your mobile number that you registered while applying.
6. Please hit “OK” for the displayed acknowledged number
7. The resulting page will prompt to make payment using respective payment gateway (Credit / Debit / Net Banking) to complete the process.

Note: Please use the acknowledgement number to get the status of your application. Please select Online Application and choose Application status. Here please enter the Number and hit get status to know the status

Apply online

1. To Obtain a Caste Certificate, the applicant has to make the application online via link – link
2. If the applicant is a new user click the “Register HERE” button.
3. The applicant has to enter the Aadhar number in the newly opened page.
4. The applicant will get the OTP from the registered mobile number.
5. The applicant has to enter the OTP number and click the “Allow” button.
6. The applicant has to enter all the Email ID, Password, Phone number and click the “Submit” button.
7. Now, the applicant has to login and click the “LOGIN IN”.
8. The applicant has to select the respective department and the applying certificate.
9. Enter all the details in the application form.
10. Make sure that the applicant has to upload all the necessary documents which is mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
11. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested (If Applicable).
12. After completion, the applicant has to click the “Submit” button.
13. The applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement. The applicant will also get a transaction number as a text message on their registered mobile number.
14. Once the verification process gets completed by the respective officer.
15. ”SMS” triggered update on application status will be sent to the applicant’s mobile. Please keep track of the notification.
16. The submitted application will be processed by the department. A designated authority (supply officer) will verify the submitted documents and inspect the area of the applicant to clarify the applicant’s details.
17. Based on the outcome of the above-mentioned steps and other internal processing, the designated issuing authority will decide on the issuance of the Certificate.
18. The status, viz. Approval or Rejection will be conveyed to the applicant through an “SMS” or applicable norms.

Apply Through Nadakacheri Centres

1. To Obtain a Caste Certificate, the applicant has to approach respective “Nadakacheri” centre link
2. Please visit the centre and consult with the centre operator for your requirement.
3. If the operator issues an application form, then collect it and pay the requisite fee. Please complete the application form.
4. Now, submit the completed application along with the required documents as per the “Required Documents” section of this page. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
5. The operator will process the application online. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement. The applicant will also get a transaction number as a text message on their registered mobile number.
6. Applicant has to make necessary payment as centre operator quotes and don’t forget to take the receipt.
7. This application will be forwarded to the respective department for further processing.
8. ”SMS” triggered update on application status will be sent to the applicant’s mobile. Please keep track of the notification.
9. The submitted application will be processed by the department. A designated authority (supply officer) will verify the submitted documents and inspect the area of the applicant to clarify the applicant’s details.
10. Based on the outcome of the above-mentioned steps and other internal processing, the designated issuing authority will decide on the issuance of the new Death Certificate.

Apply In-Person

1. In order to apply for caste certificate in Karnataka, applicant has to go to the respective Taluk, Nadakacheri office in whose jurisdiction the candidate usually resides. Link for the office details : Contact Link
2. Submit a written application form along with required documents to the authority.
3. Authorities after checking the attached documents and details submitted, will make entries and provide you record number for reference.
4. This document and details will then reach Thasildhaar.
5. Thasildhaar will ask his authorities to do investigation and do ground level verification for the details submitted.
6. After due verification authorities will submit their report. Based on the report submitted, Thasildhaar will decide to issue the caste certificate.

Note :

• Certificate will be despatched or handed over directly as per the request made while applying. Mostly handover in office will be in practice to get counter signature for the delivered one will be made.
• In case of any specialised classes, that covers government subsidy and reservation, a notice will be propagated in the applicants residing area to see if there is any objection for the applicant arises.

The caste certificate is required at the time of admission in any of the educational institution. It is also extremely important for some other works also. Citizen may need to visit their nearest concerned department office or they can submit the registration to get the certificate (according to the state govt). In Karnataka this facility is available through the application form system. Formally the process is apply for this document is available through SDM (sub divisional magistrate), tehsil office or in the revenue department office. In case the person is applying for the certificate first time in their family then the department takes some verification and local inquiry. To make the certificate you need an application form, photo ID, one photo, photo copy of the ration card and must affidavit on stamp paper of Rs 10.
