In Karnataka, you could get a Police Clearance Certificate of the Tenant through the following procedure.
Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for a Police Clearance Certificate in Bangalore or any part of Karnataka, Purchase the Application form from the nearest KarnatakOne Centre for Rs. 10 One Center Locator.
2. Write the S.No.: 13 or 14 which is for Business Purpose.
3. Fill the required details and attach a Passport size Photo and Duly sign the form.
4. Attach a photocopy of the required Id Proof.
5. Carry your original Id poof as well in case it is required for cross verification.
6. Attach the Original Rental Agreement with Lawyer Notary.
7. Pay the Processing fee or Rs.200 + Convenience fee of Rs.5 at KarnatakaOne Centre.
8. Print the Receipt and attach with the Application Form.
9. Submit the form in the specific counter for Tenant Verification at the Commissioner’s Office or at the concerned police station.
10. Receive the acknowledgement receipt and keep it safe for further reference.
11. Visit the Commissioner’s office to enquire about status of the application.
12. Collect the report the Commissioner’s Office once it is ready.
