Those who wanted to start a money lending business should have to apply for a money lender licence to carry on business of money lending.

Apply Online

1. To apply family tree certificate online, the applicant has to use the following on link
2. On that page the applicant has to click “Department Services”.
3. In “search service” applicant has to enter “money lender” and hit the search icon.
4. The page will return appropriate connected results. Please click on “Application for Issue of License to Money Lender and Pawn Brokers“ option.
5. The applicant can view the details and click “Apply Online” button.
6. From redirect page the applicant is new user, you must first register on this portal by clicking “Register Here” button.
7. After successful registration the applicant has to Enter the login details and click “Log in” button.
8. Applicant has to fill the necessary Details & Photocopies details. Click “I agree” checkbox and fill the Captcha Code as given and click “Submit”.
9. A fully filled form will be generated for applicant verification. Click “Attach annexures”.
10. The applicant has to attach the annexures and click “save annexures”.
11. Saved annexures will be displayed and click “e-sign and make payment”.
12. Click “I agree” with above user consent and eSign terms and conditions and click “Select authentication type to continue”.
13. The applicant has to enter Aadhar Number and click “get OTP”. OTP was sent to the registered applicant mobile number. Enter OTP and click “Submit”.
14. Select mode of payment and Click “Make Payment and proceed”. Select payment method, enter the details and click “make payment”.
15. After Payment completed Successful, Sakala acknowledgement will be generated to the applicant.
16. The applicant want go to link website and click on track application status. Enter Application Reference Number and Submission date and click “submit”.
17. Status of the application will be displayed.
18. The processing time for this procedure is complete within 14 days.

Apply In-Person at centers

1. To apply family tree certificate online, the applicant has to use the following on link
2. In the given page, please use the “SERVICE CENTERS” menu.
3. In the new page, please select the appropriate details as per the requirement to get the center details.
4. Visit the center and consult with the center operator for your requirement.
5. Based on the center operator advise the applicant shall provide the details.
6. The operator may provide an application to fill for this purpose or you may be asked to write on a plain A4 sheet.
7. Complete the application form if required. Submit the documents as appropriate to the operator and follow operator’s guidelines to file the application for registering.
8. The system generated acknowledgment will be provided. Keep it safe for future reference.
9. The payment for the service and security deposit needs to be remitted as applicable as per the government accepted norms.
10. The applicant will get an acknowledgment and intimation in their registered mobile number.
11. The applicant shall follow the notification to get the registration complete.
12. The applicant shall follow the center operator in case of any delay beyond the advised timeline of the operator.

Apply In-Person

1. To apply, the eligible person has to apply with required documents to the respective registrar of co-operative society designated to process the request link
2. Please go to the respective office. Consult with the respective authority about the updated information to acquire the license.
3. Get the form for this license or write on a plain paper as advised.
4. Submit the completed application along with required documents to the receiving authority.
5. Authorities after checking the application and documents will make entries at the respective register and provide applicant a record number for reference.
6. Applicant has to Keep it safe for future reference.
7. This application will be processed further.
8. If the applicant’s details are matching the norms and the place for which license sought is also approved, applicant gets intimation for the rest of the process.
9. Please follow the department’s guidelines in getting the sanction and obtain license.
10. This entire process can be completed within 7 to 15 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority
