1. To Get Monthly Retail Trade Survey (MRTS), the applicant has to approach the U.S. Census Bureau Economic Indicators Division link
2. The applicant has to download the required form from the following link
3. The applicant has to fill all the details in the application form.

   Note: The applicant can contact the Residential Construction Branch for completing the survey at: 1–800–845–8244. Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern time.

4. Make sure that the applicant has to attach all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
6. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the office Fax number - 1-800-447-4613.
7. Once the verification process gets done, the applicant gets notification through mail.
8. The applicant can check the report through this link
9. The fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
10. The processing time for this procedure is within a week.
    

Apply Online (update progress report)

1. To Get Monthly Retail Trade Survey (MRTS), the applicant has to use the following link
2. The applicant has to Login with the user name and password.
3. After entering, click the “Login” button.
4. The applicant has to upload the monthly survey report with the correct payment details.
5. The applicant gets the reminder notification through email to complete the survey report on every month.
6. The processing time for checking the report is 30minutes (for first month), 10 minutes (for every month).
7. The fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
