Procedure for Import

1. The applicant has to contact the Ministry of Agriculture in Jordan.
2. Test procedure is applied on the substance or the sheep by the vet in the directorate of agriculture.
3. The health certificate for the substance is filled, and signed by the vet and the agricultural manager then stamped.
4. The citizen moves to the border center whereas the health certificate is checked to be provided with the letters and the customs application file for clearance.
   
   

Procedure for Export

1. The citizen brings the customs application file with the health certificate from the country of origin.
2. The substance is tested by a committee from different ministries ( health and standards and metrology)
3. Samples are taken and sent to specialized laboratories.
4. After the health results are revealed, the goods are taken for clearance.

• Health certificate from the specialized directorate of agriculture.
• Health certificate from the country of origin if it was imported.
• Customs application procedure.

Fees are different depending on the sample type or the substance, and depending on the customs application file clearance procedures; not depending on the certificate.
