1. Verify the identity of the applicant and the authenticated documents.
2. Bring military service book.
3. Fill out the form and review available information.
4. Conduct theoretical and practical tests.
5. Pay fee and issue the license.

• National ID card or valid passport
• Employment certificate (for military personnel and copy of family book to show full name and national number)
• Recent Two (2) colored Personal photo size (4x6)
• Security approval from preventive security department and criminal information department provided at the section where the application is done
• Authorized letter from his company stating that he is employed as a driver, and the commercial record of the company
• Military service proof (for male applicants born 1989 and after)
• Driving license (if he holds a driver license of another class)
• Qualification certificate from one of the authorized training centers certifying that the applicant received 20 theoretical lessons and 10 practical lessons if he does not have a third class license
• Qualification certificate from one of the authorized training centers certifying that the applicant received 10 practical lessons if he holds a driving license of another class, military can provide a certificate issued by driving and maintenance school certifies he passed this class successfully.

A Jordanian citizen who want to obtain a fifth class driving license must accomplish the following conditions:

• Two years at least should pass after the applicants receive forth class license.
• Must be medically fit according to regulations in law.
• Finished determined training courses.
• Passed technical test.
