1. Requests to restore Jordanian nationality are submitted to the Office of the Interior Minister. You must obtain a letter from the Minister of Interior stating the approval of the minister's committee (Bureau of Nationality) permitting the restoration the Jordanian nationality of the applicant.
2. Bring the approved decision of the Council of Ministers.
3. Pay the fees.
4. Your application will be forwarded forward the application to the Office of the Special Audit for Jordanian nationality for it's endorsement.
5. Once your application is approved, the applicant will received a letter to be presented to the Office of Civil Status and Passport accompanied by the decision of the restoration to receive the documents.

• ID proof of the applicant.
• Decision of the ministry committee with the official letter of His Excellency the Minister of the Interior containing the approval of the nationality restoration.

• Arab nationalities: 1,000 JOD (converted using the Jordanian dinar exchange rate in the country where the applicant is a national)
• American States: 4,000 dollars

Applications are submitted to the Department of Civil Status and Passport / Department of Legal Affairs - Office of nationality or to Jordanian embassies abroad for citizens living abroad.
