Jordan - Apply for Occupational Total Disability Pension


Procedure

  1. The applicant who needs to apply for disability pension due to natural causes needs to contact the Social Security Corporation in Jordan.
  2. The applicant has to make sure they have all the necessary documents that are listed under the Required Documents section of this page.
  3. The Medical Committee of the Corporation will validate the document that has been submitted.
  4. The decision of the above-mentioned committee is appealable before the appellate medical committee within (15) days from the date of decision notification delivery. The decision of the appellate medical committee is appealable before the Supreme Court within (60) days of the decision notification delivery.

Required Documents

  • Deduction discontinuation statement issued by the establishment.
  • A copy of the insured ID card for Jordanians and the passport for the non-Jordanians.
  • Birth certificate of the insured.
  • A letter of services termination due to health conditions.
  • A letter issued by the Directorate of Civil and Military Retirement or the retirement decision for the Jordanian.
  • Original Medical reports or certified copies of them, proving the occupational disability.
