Jordan - Apply for National Identification (ID) Number


Procedure

  1. Go to the Department of Civil Status and passports Department offices.
  2. Fill in a personal enrollment form.
  3. Present the required documents.
  4. Submit the application to the employee at the counter to audit as per the terms and conditions.
  5. Get the application approval from the Secretary of the office or his assistant where it is necessary to pay the legal fees.
  6. Enter the new requested data using the computer after performing the necessary audit between what is previously stored in the computer and what is stated in the request.
  7. Store new information introduced after final auditing.
  8. Print the requested document.
  9. The document will be signed and stamped by the office Secretary or his assistant. A copy of the financial receipt will be attached upon delivery of the document to the applicant.

  • proof of Jordanian nationality under the details from the Office of passport file
  • original and photocopy of birth certificate
  • yellow bridge card and a copy of the Palestinian or Israeli card or details of follow-up and inspection (for those who need this)
  • form of personal enrollment data
  • original and a copy of (the marriage contract for the wife, husband's death certificate for the widower, and the rule of absolute divorce, and the passport of the wife or non-Jordanian husband)
