If not a first time service, but a renewal of a document or a request for a certificate of a previously recorded occurrence, service undergoes the following stages and procedures:

1. Submit the request to the Admission employee at the counter for checking and comparing of information stored in the computer.
2. Collection of legal fees.
3. Date entry stage:
   1. Storage of new data after validation.
   2. Typing the requested document.
4. Delivery of document to its applicant Stage: This takes place after the application is signed and stamped by the Office Manager or his/her assistant, in return for a copy of the financial voucher.

Note:
These procedures are applied in the offices that are connected to the computer where documents are issued automatically. These offices currently represent 95% of the total number of employees and of the Departments volume of work.

• circular of loss of passport (after informing the nearest security center and advertising in the daily newspaper)
• judicial guarantee for the value of JD 100 for the first time and JD 200 for second time loss, and payment of the first guarantees value should the second loss occur within 5 years of issuing the in lieu of lost passport
• two recent personal colored photographs.

• Yellow Card of Crossing Points (Bridge) or note of the Control and Inspection Department (if necessary)
• approval of concerned authorities to issue a passport in lieu of lost
