Apply In-Person

1. To apply for the hostel license in Jharkhand, the applicant has to approach the urban local bodies in their area.
2. Get the application form from the concerned officer.
3. Please make sure you have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. Fill up the application form correctly and submit the application form with applicable fees.
5. The application will be passed through primary and secondary verification.
6. After primary verification on application details, dealing assistant will forward the application to the section head for secondary verification.
7. A provisional licence will be issued on the same day to the applicant on trust and verify method.
8. The Approval Authority of urban local body will issue the final license within 22 days from the date of application.

• The applicant must be the resident of Jharkhand.
• The applicant must be above the age of 18.
• The applicant should not have any criminal cases.

• The fees for the hostel license is 500.

• The License is valid for a period of one year.
