Procedure

Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for allowance for an unemployed disabled person, the applicant has to get a disability certificate first. An application form can be obtained from the nearest social welfare office contact link
  2. Applicant can also use the following link to download form
  3. Applicant must carry all documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this Page.
  4. Applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the form and attach the photocopies of the documents that are needed along with the application form before submitting.
  5. Applicant must attach photocopies of documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
  6. There is no requirement of any fee for the application.
  7. After the applicant receives the disability certificate issued by the competent authority, the applicant is eligible for unemployment allowance.
  8. The application form for the allowance for unemployed disabled people is available at District Offices and Directorate Offices.
  9. Concerned authorities will look into the application form and submitted documents before Validating Allowance.
  10. Approval will be provided after examination of documents.
  11. Allowance will be provided within 15 to 20 days. If the allowance has not been given, applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.


Apply Online

  1. To Apply Allowance for Unemployed Disabled Persons in Jharkhand, the applicant shall visit the following webpage: Link.
  2. A new page will open up, where the applicant needs to fill up and submit the doctor's information.
  3. After submission, the applicant shall choose an appropriate option.
  4. On a newly opened page, the applicant shall fill up the application form with all the necessary details and complete the given application form.
  5. Now the applicant shall upload scanned copies of all the " Required Documents" for further processing. (If asked for)
  6. Once the documents are uploaded, provide the mobile number and enter the received OTP.
  7. Now click on "Submit" and complete the process.
  8. On successful verification, the allowance will be made.



Apply through Centres:

  1. To Apply Allowance for Unemployed Disabled Person in Jharkhand, the applicant shall visit the nearest CSC/Tehsil Centre. Find contacts to CSC centres in the link provided:Link
  2. Procure the application form from the concerned centre and fill it up with the necessary details required for the application.
  3. Make sure to attach all the "Required Documents" along with the application form before submission.
  4. Provide authorized signatory and photograph, wherever applicable.
  5. Now submit the application to the office of the concerned centre.
  6. On successful verification, the applicant will be notified by the CSC centre.

Eligibility

Physical disability, Locomotor disability, Leprosy cured person, Cerebral palsy, Dwarfism, Muscular dystrophy, Acid attack victims, Visual impairment, Speech and language disability, Intellectual disability, Mental behavior, Chronic neurological conditions, Blood disorder and Multiple Disabilities person can apply.


Fees

There is no requirement of any fee for the scheme activation.
