Apply In Person

1. To appoint an agent, you should make your application to the Trademark registry at the Jamaica Intellectual Property Office (JIPO). Please view the JIPO office location map and contact details via this link: - JIPO contacts.
2. Obtain the application form from the JIPO website: - JIPO website(Find “Trademark form 3”) or directly via this link: - Application form.
3. Download and complete the application form as instructed and attach all the necessary supporting documents to the form.
4. Visit the JIPO office and pay the application fee at the cashier and obtain the payment receipt.
5. Submit your application to the trademark registry for processing.
6. The application will be processed and the details of your appointed agent will be entered into the registry’s database.

• Complete the form in capital letters using a black writing pen or type your answers.

• Reference.
• Details of registration.
• Full name of proprietor or licensee or opponent.
• Address.
• Signature and date.

• The appointed agent is recognised by law to act on your behalf.
