Apply In-Person

1. To apply for a Trade License, you have to visit the Tax Admiration Jamaica (TAJ) office in your parish. Please TAJ’s contact details via this link: Link
2. Obtain the application form for Trade license from TAJ parish office or download it online form TAJ’s website: Link or directly via this link: Link and fill it accordingly.
3. Then prepare all the required documents for your application and attach them to the application form.
4. Go to the TAJ’s office at your parish and pay the application fee at the cashier window and obtain the payment receipt.
5. Submit the complete application to the TAJ officer at the service window for application including the payment receipt.
6. The official will verify your application and forward it to the relevant department for approval.
7. Then your application details will be recorded in TAJ’s data base for online services and the license will be processed and issued to you.

• Applications for the trade licence, along with payment of the relevant fees, are made in each parish on April 1st of each year
