Apply In-Person

1. To obtain a Coconut export license in Jamaica, you should go to the Jamaica Agricultural Commodities Regulatory Authority (JACRA). Please view JACRA’s contact details via this link:Link
2. Write a letter addressed to JACRA detailing the type of the product, quantities, frequency, destination, company directors and attach a valid Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO) certificate and Bureau of Standards Jamaica (BSJ) certificate if the product requires testing
3. Visit the JACRA’s office and submit your application to the official at the service centre and obtain an acknowledgment receipt for the application
4. JACRA will review your application and inform you if it is successful or if they require more details from you to complete the application
5. If your application is complete and meets the required standards, you will be notified that processing of the application will begin. If not, you will be notified of the requirements to be satisfied for the application to be processed.
6. Once informed that your application is complete, visit the JACRA’s office and pay the license fee at the cashier and obtain the payment receipt
7. Upon payment, the export permit will be processed and issued to you
