1. To export furniture from Jamaica you must register with the Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO) either as an Individual or Company (for registration details please view Wiki-procedure: Jamaica-Register as An Exporter) you can also view JAMPRO contact details via this link: Link
2. Upon registration, obtain the necessary export permit for your commodity from the Trade Board Limited (TBL)
3. Then Consult with the Bureau of Standards for general information regarding your commodity standards as well as labelling and packaging specifications and requirements for export to various counties.
4. Purchase and complete Export Entry Form C82 available at the Trade Board or the offices of the Jamaica Exporters Association.
5. Complete all other relevant commercial invoice forms as well as export documents, all of which are available at the Trade Board. I.e., CARICOM - CARICOM Invoice, Canada - Canadian Customs Invoice and for other Markets - Commercial Invoice or C23
6. You may also contact the Certification Unit at the Trade Board to determine whether your commodity qualifies for any preferential treatment in the overseas market. If yes, you will need to purchase the relevant form and obtain the required Certificate of Origin
7. With the necessary documents, you can opt to export your furniture either by Sea or by Air
8. Confirm the shipping or air cargo rates and book for the export and the insurance coverage of the export and complete a Tally Sheet (by air) or a Wharf or Dock Receipt and a cargo Integrity Form (by sea)
9. Then Complete customs declaration for the cargo using E-SAD within ASYCUDA WORLD note that if you are a first-time exporter, you must register with ASYCUDA by emailing a request for an account to awifo@jacustoms.gov.jm
10. Once all the customs procedures are complete, the cargo will be cleared for export

• Export registration certificate or license
• Export permit for the relevant government agency
• Complete export entry
• Commercial invoice
• Certificate of origin
• Dock receipt/ Tally sheet
• Custom processing fees payment
