Apply In-Person

1. To give a special declaration for imported motor vehicles, you should make your application to the Jamaica Customs Agency (JCA). Please view the JCA contact details through this link: - JCA contact Note that you can give the declaration for vehicles imported by an Individual, Dealer, Concession Holders, and Registered Taxi Operators.
2. Obtain the declaration form from the JCA office for the category you are applying for (Individual, Dealer, Concession Holders, or Registered Taxi Operators) or download the form from the JCA website through this link: - Application form you can also download the forms directly from the links provided in the “Documents to use” section below.
3. Read the declaration form and complete it accordingly.
4. Visit the JCA office and submit the declaration form to the customs officer at the service desk.
5. The officer will receive the declaration and check if it is complete correctly and enter the details into the JCA system. Note that the declaration is legally binding.

• The declaration is valid for the lifetime of the imported motor vehicle.
