1. The responsible commission for issuing casino operator gaming license is the Casino Gaming Commission (CGC) and you can view their location map contact details via this link: Link
2. Visit the commission’s office to obtain the application form and enquire from the assisting officer the required supporting documents that are required to accompany your application
3. Fill the application form correctly and attach all the required supporting documents to it
4. Now submit the complete application to the CGC for verification and processing and pay the prescribed application fee
5. The commission will view your application and conduct an investigation to determine if you meet the required criteria to be issued the license, at this point the commission may ask you to provide more documents or information that may assist in their investigation
6. Once the commission determines that you are proper and fit and you meet all the required criteria to be granted the license, they will approve your application
7. The license will be processed and availed for collection at the CGC office
8. Visit the CGC office to collect the license in person or send a proxy with a signed authorization letter by the Justice of Peace (JP) allowing the nominee to collect the license on your behalf
9. Once you have obtained the license, pay the prescribed license fee within 30 day otherwise the license will lapse and rendered invalid
10. In an event that your application is not approved by the commission, you will be notified by the commission in writing the reasons why they have declined to grant the license and advise you on how you can appeal this decision

A license shall lapse where:

• The applicant/operator fails to pay the initial licensing fee within 30 days of the grant of license
• The applicant/operator fails to commence operations within the time specified in the license
• The applicant/operator suspends operations for more than ninety days other than by reason of force majeure or a suspension order from the Commission.
