Apply In-Person

1. To apply to Join senior day activity centres for the Senior Citizens, you have to be registered with the National Council for Senior Citizens (NCSC) which is an agency of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security (MLSS). Please view the NCSC contact details in the “Office Locations & Contacts” section below
2. First, obtain the registration form for senior citizens from any of the NCSC offices
3. Complete the application form and attach all the required supporting documents to the form. You will need to provide a document proving your age
4. Submit the complete application to the NCSC official at the service desk for verification
5. The official will verify your application to determine if it meets the criteria required to be registered as a senior citizen
6. After the application is verified and you meet the eligibility criteria for registration, the application will be approved for processing
7. The NCSC will register you as a senior citizen and prepare your senior citizen's identity card and issue it to you
8. Once registered with NCSC, you can apply to join the senior day activity centre which is operated by the NCSC
9. In the activity centres, you will be able to socialize with your peers and participate in various health, educational or recreational activities between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm on weekdays.

Note:that if you are unable to apply for the registration of the NCSC in person, you can send a third party to apply on your behalf. In this case, you must provide them with a certified document that proves your age

If you are a dependent senior, you must be accompanied by a nurse or caregiver
For the registration process, you will need to provide the following:

• Complete application form
• A document that proves your age for example:
  • Birth certificate
  • Passport
  • Driver’s license
  • National Voter’s Identification Card
  • Letter from a Justice of the Peace (JP), medical doctor, or pastor, verifying age.

• Name
• TRN
• Address
• Contact Information
• Age

• The activity centres give the seniors the chance to socialize with their peers and learn
