Jamaica - Apply for Project Funding for Non-Infrastructure Projects


Procedure

Apply In-Person

  1. To apply for Project Funding for Non-Infrastructure Projects, you should submit your application to the Sports Development Foundation (SDF). Please view the SDF contact details through this link: Contact Details
  2. Write a formal request in the form of a letter or proposal addressed SDF requesting the funds
  3. Your request letter or proposal should include the following details, however, you can opt to add more details that can support your application:
  4. Background of the requesting entity
  5. The total budget for the project
  6. What the project is designed to achieve (Expected impact of the project)
  7. How much funds are being requested from the SDF
  8. Expected source of funds for the remainder of funds required for the project
  9. Then submit your request letter or proposal to the SDF office for review and consideration by the SDF committee
  10. The SDF will assess your request or proposal to determine if it meets the threshold for receiving the fund
  11. After a careful assessment by the SDF, they will notify you through your contact details if you have qualified for the fund and direct you on how to receive the funds
