Apply In-Person

1. To obtain a Hawker’s or Peddler’s license, you should make your application to the Tax Admiration Jamaica (TAJ) office in your parish. Please TAJ’s contact details via this link:- TAJ’s contacts .
2. Obtain the application form from the TAJ office and complete the form accordingly.
3. Then prepare all the required documents for your application and attach them to the application form.
4. Go to the TAJ’s office in your parish and pay the application fee at the cashier’s window and obtain the payment receipt.
5. Submit the complete application to the TAJ officer at the service desk including the payment receipt.
6. The official will verify your application and forward it to the relevant department for approval.
7. Then your application details will be recorded in TAJ’s database for online services and the license will be processed and issued to you.

Note:

• You can apply for class A license or class B licence.

• Hawkers and Peddlers License A $2.00.
• Hawkers and Peddlers License B $10.0.

• The license is valid for one year and is eligible for renewal.

• You should not commit to any hawking or peddling activity without a valid license
• The license is only recognized in the parish that issued it.
