Apply In-Person

1. To register for National Insurance Scheme (NIS) as an employer, you should visit the NIS office under the Ministry of Labour and Social Security (MLSS). Please view the NIS contact details in the “Office Locations & Contacts” section below and the MLSS contact details via this link: Link
2. Obtain the NIS Employer registration form from any of the NIS offices or download the form from the MLSS website through this link:Link (Select “Employer Registration” to download the form)
3. Read and complete the registration form as instructed. Note that the persons completing this form must give their full name in the blocks provided and write their position in the firm
4. Attach the required supporting documents to the application form
5. Go to the NIS office in your parish and submit the complete application to the NIS official at the service desk
6. The NIS official will verify your application if it meets the required standard and enter your details into their system for processing
7. Then the application will be processed and you will be registered with the NIS as an employer
8. After the registration process, you will be issued with your unique NIS registration number as an employer
   

Note:If you are unable to apply by yourself, you can send a third party with an authorization letter to act on your behalf.
