1. To renew a Public Passenger Vehicle (PPV) driver's licence, applicants will need to submit an application to the Road Transport Licensing Committee. A link is provided under 'Documents to Use' section which you can use to download the PPV Driver Licence Renewal Form.
2. Submit the completed form together with these following documents:
   1. Current Disclosure & Barring Service Certificate
   2. Medical Form
   3. IOM Driving Licence
   4. Current Passport Photo
3. Pay the application fee.

You must hold a FULL Driving licence, which entitle you to drive a vehicle of the appropriate group or category, and to drive for hire or reward, i.e. no code restrictions.

If the minibus (group D1) driving entitlement was acquired other than by passing a test in a minibus, you will be restricted to the driving of a courtesy minibus only.

• To replace a current Public Passenger Vehicle Driver licence on expiry (3 year licence) : 29.00
• Any driver who fails to submit their renewal form to the RTLC Office by the expiry date, will be required to make a new application: 53.00
• Application for an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service Certificate: 44.00
