1. You may submit a request to obtain a copy of an adoption certificate online through the official Health Service Executive website, using a secure payment facility.
2. Click the link given to apply online - LINK.
3. Simply follow the online instruction and provide all the required information.
4. Pay for the certificate. The certificate costs 20. There is an additional fee of 1 for postage within the Republic of Ireland and United Kingdom and 2 for postage elsewhere. The amount will be Credited/Debited to your card on the day of purchase by the Civil Registration Service unless otherwise stated.
5. It will take about 10 days for your certificate to be mailed to you, however postal services vary from country to country.

If you are outside Ireland

You may use the link provided under "Office Locations & Contacts" section to get in touch with the nearest Irish Embassy in the country where you are currently staying. The Embassy's consular service section will be able to help process your request to obtain a copy of an adoption certificate.
