Apply Online

1. To apply for Phytosanitary Certificate, applicant shall access the ECS portal
2. To access ECS, please click on the following link: Link
3. On the given link, enter the CAPTCHA text and click on “proceed”. A new screen will appear.
4. The Request Certificate screen will display Certificate Types which can be applied for from the list on the dropdown options.
5. Select certificate type “Phytosanitary Plant & Horticulture Certificate” which will then display the fields relevant to the Certificate.
6. Complete the online application form and upload your documents and click on “submit”
7. Once your application is processed, the concern department will schedule an inspection.
8. The inspector inspects the shipment destined for export.
9. Once the inspection yields satisfactory results, the inspector issues a Phytosanitary Certificate

• Import permit
• Written confirmation from the NPPO (National Plant Protection Organisation) of the country of destination confirming the Phytosanitary Import requirements.
