According to Law No. 12 of 2006 concerning Indonesian Citizenship, Article 28 states Every person who obtains Indonesian citizenship based on information that is later declared as false or falsified, incorrect, or there is a mistake found about the person by an authorized institution, shall have his citizenship cancelled.

Information that is false or falsified, incorrect or there is a mistake found about the person is based on the decision of the court who has obtained a permanent legal force.
