A Representative needs an authorisation from the vehicle owner to act on their behalf.

Apply In-Person:

1. This authorisation can be submitted on a written application.
2. Applicants are advised to contact the respective RTO authorities concerned for their area beforehand for any updated requirement.
3. Owner of the vehicle shall make the application in writing/electronically typed stating that the person mention on this letter is authorised to represent the actual owner for the purpose mentioned.
4. This application should contain
   • Owner details
   • Vehicle details
   • Representative detail
   • Purpose for which the authorisation is requested.
5. The representative should sign before the owner of the vehicle under “Signed before me” space on the application.
6. Representative should sign similar to the sign on the document that will be submitted as proof of sign(DL/Passport etc). So, the signing before the authorities should also match.
7. Once the above mentioned details are covered the representative for the vehicle owner is ready for further process.
8. Please check whether all the details mentioned on the application are correct and error free.
