You should have valid documents to obtain a gas connection and your age should be of 18 years.

For a 14.2 kg cylinder, a refundable Deposit for Two Cylinders of INR 1450 each, Regulator Price - (Refundable Deposit for One Regulator) of INR 150. They also charge for service charges to install and inspect. Prices may vary based on your residing state. Please check with your service provider.

The gas connection is valid throughout your life.

• You can obtain a gas cylinder connection by applying in person and online
• You should have valid documents such as ration card, pan card, voter id card.
• You should manually complete the application forms and submit in the respective gas connection agency of your area.
• The applicant should submit two to three passport size photographs with the application.

• Full Name of the applicant
• Applicants Date of birth
• Fathers Name
• Savings Bank Account Number
• Mobile Number
• Email Id
• Address for communication including temporary and permanent
• Passport Size photographs of the applicant
• Photocopy of address proof such as electricity bill, ration card
• Photocopy of identity such as pan card, aadhar card
• A gazetted officer duly signed stamp paper on a proforma.

LPG stands for Liquified Petroleum Gas. A gas cylinder is a cylindrical pressure vessel used to store gases at above atmospheric pressure. A gas cylinder is widely used at residences, restaurants, hotels for cooking purposes. You can obtain two cylinders for one gas connection.
Any LPG company delivers the following items to LPT customers:

• One 14.2 kg filled LPG cylinder
• One Regulator
• One Rubber Pipe
• One Passbook
• A certificate of Gas connection

There are three service providers who provide an LPG gas connection Bharat Petroleum, Hindustan Petroleum, Indian Oil Corporation.
There are two types of LPG connection:

• For domestic use 14.2 kg and 5 kg
• For commercial use (hotel, restaurant, industry) 19 kg and 47.5 kg
