India - Complaint about Quality of Water (Residential)


Procedure

Apply In-Person

  1. A person desirous of making a complaint about water quality must visit the concerned Water (Jal) Board office in the district.
  2. Write down the complaint in a detailed manner on white paper. Fill in your name, contact details, address and duration of issue.
  3. Attach documents or pictures of proof, if any.
  4. Duly sign the letter and submit it along with proof (if any) to the officer in charge in the Jal Board office.
  5. No fee is required for this procedure.
  6. The time limit for each complaint varies according to the credibility and importance of the complaint.
  7. Any step taken towards the complaint will be notified via Email/SMS/Letter.
