1. To renew your passport, you will need to personally hand in your application at the Central Document Office in Budapest. To book an appointment, check the contact information provided under 'Office Locations & Contacts' section.
2. You will be asked to present your expiring/expired passport and supporting documents.
3. Pay the application fee.

If you are outside Hungary

You may use the link provided under "Office Locations & Contacts" to get in touch with the nearest Hungarian Embassy in the country you are currently staying. The Embassy's consular service section will process your request to renew your passport.
