A Honduras drivers licence is a Spanish language thing, if you know Spanish fluently and if you do not sound like a foreigner then you stand a pretty good chance in getting you license the first day with in a few hours.

1. You have to approach the police station to gat your Honduras driver license. You can find the contact information of the police stations under the "Office Locations & Contacts" section of this page.
2. To apply for the license you will asked to take a simple written questionnaire in Spanish which you have to pass.
3. You will be provided an application form which you have to fill in and also make sure you have to collect all the documents listed under the "Required Documents" section.
4. You will have to complete a Medical check, Eye Exam and a Blood test in locations that are instructed by Police.
5. Once all the above are completed you will take the completed forms and the documents to the police station where they would take a picture of you and your fingerprints.
6. If everything is done as required, you will be provided with a Honduras driver license.

• You can Drive with a foreign driver's license for 90 days before getting a Honduras drivers license.
• You can drive your car for about three months starting with the date that you arrive in Honduras.
• You should carry your passport to provide proof that you have been in the country for less than three months. Once you are over three months it is best to just carry a copy.
