Apply In-Person

1. To apply for a Domestic help Verification In-Person, get the Domestic Help Verification form from the nearest police station in Haryana Station Locator, Haryana Police Stations.
2. You could also download the form online if it is available.
3. In the procured form, fill the required details of the employee (Servant).
4. Provide the complete description of the employee in the section provided for the same.
5. Mention the employee’s friend’s or relative’s information.
6. Provide the voluntary fingerprints of the employee if required.
7. Fill in the details of the employee’s Id Proof.
8. Fill in the required details of the employer.
9. Affix the passport size photograph of the employee in the space given.
10. Attach Photocopy of the employee’s Photo ID proofs.
11. Duly sign the form and submit the form at the nearest Police Station.
12. Pay the required processing fee.
13. Receive the acknowledgment receipt and keep it safe for further reference.
14. Visit the Police Station to get the report once it is ready.
    

Note: Carry the original Id proofs to the police station for any necessary cross verifications to be made.

1. To apply for Domestic help Verification online, visit Haryana’s HarSamay Citizen Portal webpage from the link: Apply Online.
2. Create a new user account with your details and login.
3. Now select Domestic help Verification from the “Citizen Services” Drop Down menu.
4. In the given window, fill all the required details of the employer.
5. Fill in the required details of the person to be verified/employee.
6. Upload the scanned copies of the required documents in the specified file size and format (Check required documents section for further details).
7. Check the details filled for any correction before you submit the form. Submitted forms cannot be altered.
8. Pay the required processing fee.
9. Your application will now be processed and the police will make verifications to create a Report.
10. You can download the report from the HarSamay Citizen Portal once it is ready.

• Make sure you mention valid details while applying for the Verification. Your application could get cancelled if the details furnished are not valid.

• While employing a person for domestic help, it is highly advisable to apply for a Police verification report of the said person to ensure your safety.
• When one applies for this Verification, the police runs a complete background check on the person to be employed and their details are stored with the police.
• This protects the employee from involving in any criminal activities in the near future.
• The police verification report also gives information about any troublesome activities of the servant in their previous workplace.

• Servants have access to the employer’s most important details, and one could easily become a victim of servant crime if they do not conduct police verification before hiring them.
• Usually, in the event of a servant crime, the police would be left with zero information about the servant's details. However, a servant verification process would help the police to track such crimes.
• It is highly necessary to do background verification of the servant even if he/she was referred by a friend or an acquaintance.
