Procedure
Apply via Agent
- The “Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)” is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education – Haryana (BSEH) to determine the eligibility of candidates as teachers in government or private schools.
- There will be an official notification release by the respective board for HTET. On the issue of notification, the deserving candidates shall apply to register for the HTET.
Apply Online
- The candidate shall use the following link to reach the respective portal to apply online Link
- In the given home page, please click on the “Registration / Login” button provided on the right part of the screen under “Quick Links” section to reach “New Registration” page.
- Please click on the “Apply Now” button provided under “Apply On” to reach the instruction page. Please go through the information and click on the “Proceed” button to reach the “STEPS FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION” page.
- Please go through the instruction and then click the checkbox for the declaration and then click on the “Proceed for Registration” button at the bottom to reach the “Apply Form” page.
- Please select the level from the dropdown list against “Level” on the top right corner of the page and please complete the rest of the page prompts as appropriate for the sections including “Additional Qualification”, “Personal Details” and “Permanent Address” one by one.
- Under “Contact Details” section, please enter the details as per prompt and enter the given captcha at the space given as applicable.
- Once all the mandatory details are provided, please click the checkbox for the declaration and then click on the “Register” button to get a “Registration Confirm” page. This page will have information for the applicant and also login details. Please save this information for future reference.
- Please click on the ‘Proceed” button to reach the dashboard. Here, please click on the “Upload Images” section. The applicant shall upload the photograph, signature and thumb impression using the applicable prompts as appropriate. Once the upload is complete, please click on the “Proceed to Step 3” button to get the updated page.
- Please click on the “Make Payment” section. Please scroll down to the bottom and click on the applicable button to process the online payment. Please click on the applicable payment option button to get a confirmation popup. Please go through then popup details and click on the “CONFIRM” button to reach the payment gateway page.
- Please process the payment gateway page as per the online payment option as applicable to complete the payment to get a “Payment Receipt” page. Please click on the “Print” button in that page to print the payment receipt for future reference.
- Once the online payment is processed, use the applicable button to reach the dashboard page and please click on the “Print Application Form” section. Here, please use the applicable button to save or print the application form.
- This application will be processed by the respective department. Once the department approves the application, the applicant will get intimation and the admit card will be provided as per applicable norms.

Eligibility
- The candidate should be the citizen of India.
- The age limit for the candidates is 18 Years to 40 Years.
- For those who belong to SC, ST, and OBC, age relaxation in the upper age limit is 5 Years.
- Candidates should be class 12 passed or a graduate from a recognized university with a minimum of 45 per cent marks.
- Candidates should have obtained a Diploma in Education or Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) or completed any other prescribed teacher training programme/course.

Instructions
- The applicants are advised to select the examination centre correctly while applying online.
- Please keep the scanned documents ready for applying online.
- Do not submit invalid certificates.
- Make sure to mention the correct school/college/Institution name while filing online application.
- Incomplete application will be rejected.
- Do not submit fake documents as a proof.
- Avoid spelling mistakes while filling the application form.
