Haryana - Apply for Delayed Registration (Late Entry) of Birth

Note : The service listed is currently not available, becasue of "Service Under Modification". Please check on it's availability to apply.
Apply Online through Saral Haryana

  1. Please use the following link to access the portal : Saral Haryana
  2. Click on "Scheme / Service List" option in the menu.
  3. A new window will openup with the list of services provided. You will be able to see a search box on right of the page, please enter "birth" and press enter to search.
  4. You will be able to see the list of services provided related to birth. Please look for "Application For Delayed Birth/Death Registration" service and click on the "Apply" option on right of the service to proceed with application.
  5. In the next page you will be provided with a login option.
  6. If you have the login credentials for this portal, you can enter and proceed Or you can register and login by clicking the "Register Here" option below login option and proceed with the application.



Apply through CSC

  1. To Apply for Delayed Registration (Late Entry) of Birth, the applicant has to approach the nearest CSC link
    NOTE: To check the contact details of CSC centre, please select the District and Block.
  2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
  3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  4. Make sure that the applicant has to attach all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
  6. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
  7. Fee for this procedure is mentioned in the “Fees” section of this page.
  8. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  9. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
  10. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  11. Once the process and the birth record verification is completed with the birth occurred hospital, the applicant will get SMS from the office for collecting the certificate.
  12. The applicant has to visit the centre to get the birth certificate.
  13. The processing time for this procedure is up to 2 to 3 weeks.

  1. To Apply for Delayed Registration (Late Entry) of Birth, the applicant has to approach the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Haryana link “panchayat/ Directorate of Municipal Administration/Corporation / Health Department” Contact link

  3. In the given page, please select the respective state as applicable to reach the respective state districts page. Please check and scroll down for the “Districts” section. Please click on the “View All” option to reach the districts page. Here click on the applicable district to reach the official district page.
  4. Here click on the menu and sub option as “DIRECTORY / PUBLIC UTILITIES / Municipalities” to reach a page with required contact information for locating the respective authorities office. Also Please look for other menu and sub options as “ABOUT DISTRICT / Who’s Who”.
  5. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
  6. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)

Eligibility

  • Any Indian citizen who has not register the birth certificate yet is eligible to make this application.




Fees

  • Within 30 days of its occurrence – Rs. 100/-
  • After 30 days but within one-year Rs. 200/-
  • Above one year – Rs. 500/-

Need for the Document

  • A birth certificate in India is a permanent and official record of the child's existence.
  • A child who is not registered at birth is in danger of being denied the official identity, a recognized name, and nationality. So, the applicant needs to register the birth with the respective departments.




Information which might help

  • Birth event, information on which is given to the Registrar after 30 days but within one year of its occurrence, shall be registered only with the written permission of the prescribed authority and on the production of an affidavit made before a notary public or any other officer authorized in this behalf by the State Government.
