While renting out a property in Goa, one has to register the Tenant or Paying Guest’s details with the Police for Tenant Verification.

Apply In-Person:

1. To register the Tenant’s details with the police, get the Tenant Verification form from the nearest Police Station.
2. A copy the Tenant Verification Form is available online Application Form
3. In the procured form, fill the required details of the Landlord and the Tenant.
4. Attach a copy of the required Documents such as Id Proofs and Passport size photographs.
5. Duly sign the form and submit the form at the nearest Police Station. Goa Police Stations.
6. The Police would ask the Tenant or Property Owner to visit the Police Station if any verification is necessary.
7. The Police would keep a record of the Tenant’s information and would inform the landlord if the Tenant is a criminal or a troublemaker.

1. To register the Tenant’s Details with the Police, visit the link: CCTNS Citizen Services .
2. In the given window, click on Tenant Verification.
3. You will now be asked to login using your User Id and Password. You can create a new account by clicking on the “Create Account” option in the lower left corner of the webpage.
4. Once you login with your account, fill all the required details of the Landlord and the Tenant or Paying Guest.
5. Upload the Tenant’s required Id proof and passport size photographs.
6. Check the details filled for any correction before you submit the form. Submitted forms cannot be altered.
7. The Police would ask the Tenant or Property Owner to visit the Police Station if any verification is necessary.
8. The Police would keep a record of the Tenant’s information and would inform the landlord if the Tenant is a criminal or a troublemaker.
