Goa - Apply to get Employee (Job) Verification


Procedure

Apply In-Person

  1. To apply for an Employee Verification In-Person, get the Employee Verification form from the nearest police station in Goa Goa Police Stations
  2. A copy of the employee information form is available online: Application form.
  3. In the procured form, fill the required details of the employee.
  4. Fill in the details of the employee’s Id Proof.
  5. Fill in the required details of the employer.
  6. Affix the passport size photograph of the employee in the space given.
  7. Attach Photocopy of the employee’s Photo ID proofs.
  8. Duly sign the form and submit the form at the nearest Police Station.
  9. Pay the required processing fee.
  10. Receive the acknowledgment receipt and keep it safe for further reference.
  11. Visit the Police Station to get the report once it is ready.



Apply Online : - Apply to get Employee (Job) Verification Online with Images

  1. To apply for an Employee Verification online, visit the link: Employee Verification.
  2. If you are a new user, create a new account by clicking on the “Create Account” option in the lower-left corner of the webpage.
  3. After creating the account successfully, log into the account.
  4. Fill in all the required details of the employee and the employer.
  5. Upload the Employee’s required Id proof and passport size photographs.
  6. Check the details filled for any correction before you submit the form. Submitted forms cannot be altered.
  7. You will receive a confirmation message about your application in your registered mobile number.
  8. Your application will now be processed and the police will make verifications to create a Report.
  9. The details of your verification report will be sent to your registered mobile number or E-Mail Id.
  10. You could also check the status of your application and download it by logging into your account.

  • Passport size photo of the employee.
  • Any Proof of Residence of the employee:
  • Ration Card
  • Vote Card
  • Electricity Bill
  • Water Bill
  • Telephone Bill
  • Residence Certificate Issued By SDM/Teshildar
  • Any photo identity proof of the employee and the employer from the following:
  • Aadhaar card
  • Driving Licence
  • Ration card
  • Voter ID
  • PAN Card

Eligibility

  • Anyone from Goa who wants to verify an employee.
  • The Employee should be 18 years and above.



Fees

  • Please inquire about the processing fee while applying in person.
  • For online application, fee details would be provided if required.



Validity

  • There is no validity period for this Verification Report.
  • It solely depends on the person/authority accepting the Verification Report.
  • The certificate stands null and void in case the employee indulges in any criminal activities.

  • Be available, if the applicant is asked to visit the police station for verification.

  • Current Address and residing period
  • Detail of anyone of Id Proof
  • Permanent Address
  • Name, address, and Ph. No. of the previous employer
  • Date since when employed
  • Description of the employee such as height etc
  • Name and address of local relatives and friends
  • Person of reference

Need for the Document

  • While hiring a person, it is highly advisable to verify the antecedent of the person with the police before employing them.
  • This verification also helps you know if any criminal records were registered against the person hired and if he/she has a shady character.

  • When one applies for such verification, the police verifies the submitted information, and the employee’s details are stored with the police.
  • This protects the employee from involving in any criminal activities in the near future.
  • Usually, in the event of a crime, the police would be left with zero information about the employee's details. However, the information gained through the employee registration process would help the police to track such crimes.
