Apply In Person:

1. The license/permission for demolishing any building is provided by the concerned authorities in the Municipal Corporation. Contacts
2. The application form has to be obtained from the authorities in the respective district Municipal Corporation.
3. The application form can also be downloaded from the official website. Application form

5. The prescribed application form for building demolition is Appendix 2.
6. The application form has to be handwritten by the person/owner/agent applying for demolition purposes.
7. The application form has to be submitted along with the required documents prescribed by the authorities.
8. Make sure that you have all the documents which are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
9. The fee estimation will be provided by the authorities based on the building type and its location.
10. Before the demolition, the owner has to make sure to disconnect the supplies to the building such as
    • Water Supply
    • Electricity Supply
    • Sewage Connection
11. After supervising everything the authorities will provide permission to demolish the building.

• Site Plan- 3 copies
• Detailed Plans, Elevations and Sections - 3 sets
• Location Plan - 3 copies
• Parking Layout Plan - 3 copies
• Contour Plans in case of sloping sites - 1 copy
• Documents duly authenticated/signed as prescribed
• Questionnaire duly authenticated by PDA/TCPD - 2 copies
• Survey Plan - 1 copy
• Copy of Index of Land (Form-III/I & XIV/Form-B/D) - 1 copy
• Document showing ownership of land - 1 copy
• Certificate from the Architect/Engineer who has planned the project and has signed the drawings - 1 copy
• Structural Liability Certificate from the Engineer responsible for the Structural Design of the Project - 1 copy
• Affidavit from the Owner - 1 copy
• Power of Attorney (if applicable) - 1 copy
• Conversion Sanad/Application for recommendation for conversion - 1 copy
• NOC from other agencies, if applicable:-

Any individual who owns the building is eligible to seek permission for building demolition.
