Apply In-Person:

1. To Validate Motor Vehicle Details in Ghana, the applicant should contact the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority Head Office.

3. Applicant can visit any of the DVLA branch office with all the required documents, approach the service desk and request for assistance on how to validate motor vehicle details.
4. Applicant must make sure to carry both photocopies and originals of all documents necessary for completing this procedure and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
5. The process is free of charge.
6. The attending official will then do a search on the DVLA computer system if all the information is in order. The applicant will be issued with the details on the particular motor vehicle immediately.
7. The processing time for this procedure is 7 days.

• Any other relevant document that may be required.

• Full name of owner of vehicle
• Permanent Address
• Temporary Address
• Full Vehicle Details
• Residential address of the applicant
• Nationality of the applicant
• Tin number and password
