Apply In-Person:

1. To Suspend or cancel Aerodrome certificate in person, the applicant has to contact the nearest Civil Aviation Authority Office in Ghana Contact link
2. Applicant must obtain the application form from the GCAA department.
3. Applicant has to enter all the information in the application form.
4. The applicant has to make sure he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
5. The fees for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
6. Submit the completed form along with the supporting documents to the respective office.
7. This application will be processed and information will be verified by the GCAA.
8. If the verification is successful, the notification will be sent to the applicant.
9. After getting the notification from concerned authorities, the applicant can visit the office to collect their Suspension and cancellation license.
10. If there is no information regarding the application, then, the applicant can visit the office to know the status of the application.

• The Authority may suspend or revoke an Aerodrome certificate if the holder of the Aerodrome certificate contravenes any of the provisions of the Act, regulations, or any such condition subject to which the Aerodrome certificate was granted.

• Pilots for commercial RPAS operations, pilots of large RPAS and pilots of RPAS with type certificate shall be required to obtain an Aerodrome Construction License or permit.
