1. To Replace Visa Permit in Ghana, the applicant has to approach the Ghana Visa Application Centre (VAC) or Ghana immigration service office Contact link
2. Report the stolen visa to the nearest police station and give an accurate event report which lead to the disappearances of the visa, on which he/she will be issued with a police report.
3. Then, the applicant must obtain the application form from Ghana Visa Application Centre (VAC) or Ghana immigration service office.
4. Applicant will be required to re-apply for the visa and applicant will always need to provide a written account documenting the loss of visa.
5. Fill in the application form accurately and attach all the required documents and submit them to the attending official who will verify and process the application.
6. The applicant has to make sure he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
7. Submit the completed application form along with all other required documents in person to the nearest Immigration office in your locality.
8. Ask the Immigration officer-in-charge to examine all submitted documents and check to see if the application form was duly completed. Inspection of documents must be done in his/her presence.
9. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
10. Submit the completed form in two copies along with the supporting documents to the respective office.
11. This application will be processed and information will be verified by the GIS.
12. If the verification is successful, the notification will be sent to the applicant.
13. After getting the notification from concerned authorities, applicant can visit the office to collect their new visa.
14. If there is no information regarding the application, then, the applicant can visit the office to know status of the application.
15. Generally, the processing time for this procedure is 10 days.
