Apply In-Person:

1. To Renew Agricultural Air Operator Certificate in person, the applicant has to contact the nearest Civil Aviation Authority Office in Ghana Contact link
2. Applicant must obtain the application form from the GCAA department.
3. Applicant has to enter all the information in the application form.
4. The applicant has to make sure he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
5. Payment of appropriate fees should be made.
6. Submit the completed form along with the supporting documents to the respective office.
7. This application will be processed and information will be verified by the GCAA.
8. If the verification is successful, the notification will be sent to the applicant.
9. After getting the notification from concerned authorities, applicant can visit the office to collect their renewal certificate.
10. If there is no information regarding the application, then, the applicant can visit the office to know status of the application.

• Air operator who has an Agricultural Air Operator Certificate that is about to expire or has expired is eligible to apply for this renewal license.

• The fees for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.

• This License is valid for a period of twenty four months from the date of issue.

• This license is required for the applicant to continue to engage in agriculture and horticulture as an aircraft operator.

• A holder of a commercial pilot’s Licence engaged by an agricultural air operator certificate does not need to hold a valid instrument rating for conducting aerial work operations related to agriculture or forest preservation.
• A holder of an AAOC shall display the certificate at the home base of operations, to the public all the time and shall present it for inspection on the request of the Authority.
• The documentsshall be kept available for inspection at the base from which the dispensing operation is conducted
