Apply In-Person:

1. To Obtain a Duplicate Voter Card in Ghana, the applicant can reach nearest electoral office (EO) and applicant can collect a copy of Form. link
2. Applicant shall go to the police and file an FIR informing them the loss of the voter card.
3. Applicant should keep the copy of the FIR handy.
4. Obtain the application form (for issuance of duplicate voter ID card) from your local election commission office or from the applicant state election commission’s website.
5. An applicant has to fill all the information in the form.
6. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
7. Applicant must attach the copy of the FIR while submitting the form. Also, make sure that the applicant has all the documents listed in the “Required documents” section of this page.
8. Attach a document that certifies your identification proof. This could be a copy of your passport, driving license, pan card, or ration card.
9. Attach a document that certifies your place of residence or address. This could be a copy of your gas bill, electricity bill, telephone bill, and other utility bills.
10. Submit the form along with the documents to your local Chief Election Commission office.
11. Immediately notify the election officials in his/her area in case there are errors in his/her card.
12. Undelivered cards before the election are kept at the polling station. Applicant may recover his/her voter's card at the polling station by presenting proper identification.
13. Individuals who just turned 18 may also receive their duplicate voter's card during citizenship Ghana (if his/her town is organizing this type of event.
14. The processing time for this procedure takes immediately.
