Apply In-Person:

1. To Obtain Restaurant License in person, the applicant has to approach the Food and Drug Authority or Ministry of Food and Agriculture Offices in Ghana. Contact link
2. Application form should obtain the respective office.
3. Applicant has to enter all the information in the application form.
4. Also, make sure that the applicant has all the documents listed in the “Required documents” section of this page.
5. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
6. Submit the completed application form and pay the required application fee and submit the receipt as a proof of payment.
7. Where the Authority is satisfied that the application for a restaurant license has satisfied all the requirements necessary for the grant of the license and upon payment of the prescribed fee, the Authority may grant him/her the license.
8. Collect the applicant license from where his/her application was submitted within a 30 days from the date the application was received at Ghana respective authority in case there is no rejection.
9. This process takes a maximum of 30 days.

• Proof of possession of premises. (Sale deed/ Rent agreement/ Electricity bill, etc.)
• Partnership Deed/Self Declaration for Proprietorship/Memorandum & Articles of Association towards the constitution of the firm
