Apply In-Person

1. To Obtain Pharmaceutical Wholesale Dealers License in Ghana, the applicant must go to the Ghana Ministry of Health (MOH).

3. Applicant must obtain the application form from the MOH.
4. The applicant has to make sure he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
5. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
6. On completion of this process, the Board will, within sixty days of receipt of the application, issue to the applicant a practicing license in the prescribed form upon being satisfied that the applicant:
   • Is duly registered or enrolled.
   • Is not for the time being suspended from practice and
   • Has complied with such other conditions as the Board may prescribe including fulfilment of the prescribed requirements for continuous professional education for that year.
7. The processing time for this procedure takes sixty days.

• There shall be a register to be known as the Register of Pharmacists in which shall be recorded by the Registrar the names of registered pharmacists.

• A person intending to carry out the business as a wholesale dealer in pharmaceuticals is required to apply for and obtain a valid Wholesale Dealers License.

• In the case of an unsuccessful application, the applicant will be given further opportunity to revise and comply.
  
• Where the applicant is able to revise the application and comply with the requirements a licence will be issued,otherwise the premises shall remain unregistered and the file will be closed after about 6 months from the date of initial application.
