Apply In-Person:

1. Apply for Environmental and Health permit or license in Ghana, the applicant has to approach the Social Welfare Department or AMA office or WGMA office. contact link
2. Then, the applicant can get their application form from the relevant department.
3. Information related to the respective office and License authority can be obtained from the “Office locations and contacts” section of this page.
4. Applicant has to enter all information in the application form.
5. Applicant must make sure to carry all necessary documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.( Both photocopies and originals)
6. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting it at the office.
7. The duly filled form must be attached with the supporting documents and submitted to the social welfare officer.
8. A Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
9. If all the above mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the permit is issued.
10. If there is no information regarding grant’s is not provided by concerned authorities, applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.
11. The Processing time for this procedure takes 14 days.
