Apply In-Person:
- To Get Chemical Clearance for Low Risk Chemical, the applicant has to approach the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) office. Contact link
- Then, the applicant can get their application form for chemical disposal permit.
- Read through the application form carefully as it contains different section.
- Make sure that he/she have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- A fees for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
- Submit the completed forms along with the supporting documents at the EPA office for verification and processing.
- Applicant will be issued with the prescribed fee invoice, visit any ECOBANK branch near the applicant with the invoice and make the payment.
- The EPA will dispatch an inspector to the facility premises for inspection to determine if Good Disposal Practice (GDP) and Good Transportation Practice (GTP) during storage and dispatch and disposal of product is practise.
- A copy of the report finding will be given to the applicant and if any modification or upgrading is required, Corrective Action and Preventive Action Report (CAPA) report will be issued and the applicant will be required rectify the problem.
- Upon successful implementation of the CAPA, a follow-up inspection may be conducted by the inspection team to ascertain the effectiveness of the implementation (where applicable).
- If the authorized official is satisfied that all the conditions are meet as required for the application, the applicant will be notified of the outcome and issued with the permit.
- Generally, the processing time for this procedure is taken 1 month.
Note: All fees charged are payable at any ECOBANK Ghana Branch by presenting the invoice issued by the Agency to the bank.

- Citizen need to be a valid national identity card copy.
- Companies need to be a valid company registration certificate copy.
- Evidence of professional training in pest control.
- Any other documents that may be request by the EPA.

Instructions
- All required document should submitted in English and must be legibly printed and not hand written.
- Where originals (documents) are in another language, copies should be presented together with certified English translations.
- To maintain your license status, the facility shall be inspected annually to ensure that the facility remains in compliance with the license requirements.

- Declaration by the applicant.
Need for the Document
- The goal of chemical risk assessment is to have a full understanding of the nature, magnitude and probability of a potential adverse health or environmental effect of a chemical. It takes into account of both hazard and exposure.
- When submitting any supporting documents, please label the documents as indicated in this part.(e.g. attachment A, etc.)
- If the space provided on the application form is not sufficient, additional information required may be provided on separate documents and attached.
- A copy of the submitted documents shall be endorsed by the EPA and returned to the applicant.
Other uses of the Document/Certificate
