- To Complaint about Hawkers Taking over Space in Ghana, the applicant has to approach the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) or Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) office Ghana Contact link or Contact link
- The applicant must obtain a letter of complaint from the EPA or AMA office. If the complaint letter is not available, the applicant should write the complaint letter in the correct format, along with the relevant information.
- Information related to the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) office and complaint authority can be obtained from the “Office locations and contacts “section of this page.
- The applicant has to make sure that he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
- There is no fee for this procedure.
- The applicant will be required to submit the supporting documentation, in addition to the duly written application form in all respect to the permit-issuing unit at the relevant authority.
- The applicant should give the complaint with proper evidence and validating the authenticity of complaint.
- If applicant’s complaint is valid, the AMA office will investigate his/her complaint and take appropriate action.
- This process will take place within the 7 working days after seeing applicant’s complaint.

- Necessary other information relating to the unwarranted blocking of roads.

Need for the Document
- The public relations and complaint committee (PRCC) will be sitting on August 22 2019, to address a complaint filed by a resident of the Jamestown community in Accra, on the unwarranted blocking of roads in and around the Jamestown community.
- The committee would also want to through this release, notify the public on its mandate to address issues of this nature per the local Government Act 936, Sub Section 27.
