Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply for National Identification Card in Ghana, the applicant has to approach the TIN centre, Registrar-general department in Accra.contact link
2. Then, the applicants can get their application form.
3. Applicant has to enter all information in the application form.
4. Applicant must make sure to carry all necessary documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page. (Both photocopies and originals)
5. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents along with the applicant from while submitting it at the office.
6. A fee for this national identity card is Free of charges.
7. If all above mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the application form will be viewed by concerned authorities and the applicant will be notified regarding their card.
8. After seeing this notification, the applicant must go to the respective office and the applicants get their national identification card.
9. Generally, the processing time for this procedure 15days.
