Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply for Journalist Visa in Ghana, the applicant has to approach the Ghana Embassy or consulate contact link
2. The application form should obtain the relevant department.
3. Applicant has to enter all information in the application form.
4. Applicant must make sure to carry all necessary documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents along with the application form while submitting it at the office.
6. Fees details are mentioned under “fees” section of this page.
7. If all above mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the application form will be viewed by concerned authorities and the applicant will be notified regarding their visa.
8. After seeing this notification, the applicant must go to the respective office and get their visa.
9. Generally, the processing time for this procedure 15 days.

Journalist visa need for all people employed by any company whose business involves the production , development , direction and broadcast of written, audio or visual news/current affairs through any medium like print/radio/television/internet would require a journalist visa in order to any country.

The journalist visa is a non-immigrant visa for representatives of the foreign media temporarily travelling to the United States to engage in their profession while having their home office in a foreign country.
